CMBC Bus Sevices
Coast Mountain Bus Company provides bus service seven days a week,
18-20 hours per day. Major bus routes operate every 10 minutes or
better in peak periods, some as often as every 4 to 6 minutes. A
limited late night/ early morning service was introduced on
weekends in 2003 and expanded to all nights and
additional routes during 2004.
85 percent of Greater Vancouver residents have conventional
"block stop" bus services within 400 metres of their homes. A key
objective is to make ten-minute service frequency available to more
people in more areas.
The region's busiest transit corridors have fast, frequent
service from distinctive, high-volume, articulated buses. B-Lines
are rolling out global positioning systems and signal priority
technologies to deliver even more reliable service.

electric trolley buses for over 50 years. An entirely new, fully
accessible fleet will be in place by 2007.
